What is the Scent Swap scheme?
Purchasing new fragrances can be costly. You might buy a fragrance after first smelling it, only to later decide that it's not quite to your liking. For the casual user it's usually not a problem. They typically have 2-3 fragrances they stick to wearing, so buying new ones is a fairly rare occurrence. We guess you're probably not one of those people right? It's quite possible that you've acquired many fragrances over time that you no longer use, which is why we're happy to offer you store credit to spend with us when you trade them in.
What can you Trade in?
We are open to taking a wide variety of brands and prefer high-end designer, niche, vintage and discontinued fragrances as they are more sought after by our customers. Please do not ask to trade in fragrances of low retail value as we will likely not be interested in these. In addition we are not open to taking smaller amounts of fragrance so ensure you have at least 30ml remaining in your bottle/s.
Do not send us your fragrances until we have advised you to do so. We are not open to taking all fragrances.
How to start the process
Before sending your bottle/s to us you will first need to advise of what you would like to trade. Please contact us with the following information so that we can provide you an accurate estimate:
The estimate you receive will be based on price the per ml for your fragrance. When we receive your bottle we remove and measure the volume in order to give you the fairest and most accurate price. For this reason the amount you actually receive may differ slightly from the estimate provided. Please make sure you are as accurate as possible when providing your quantity estimate to ensure we give you the closest price for your trade in.
You will be credited for your fragrance/s once they have been received and authenticated. When posting to us we recommend using Royal Mail 2nd Class service with recorded delivery applied to higher value items.
> Try to include the original box that came with your fragrance/s
> Include no more than 4 serarate bottles in each package that you send us, making sure the total volume in the package does not exceed 600ml
> Be sure to use plenty of suitable packaging and preferably a sturdy box to package your fragrance
> Advise the post office of your package contents, making sure the outer packaging has an ID8000 label on it and the perfume/aftershave box is ticked
